The mission of CMNOVA is to provide an interactive science and technology center that incorporates the traditional museum exploration as well as cutting edge discovery experiences for children, their families and their educators.

Vision
The Children’s Museum of Northern Virginia is an interactive science and technology based exploration center that engages children and their families from all sectors of our community in play, problem solving and creative expression through dynamic and innovative learning experiences. The museum is a must-see attraction in Fairfax County and exists in partnership with schools, businesses and the community.
