DAN GONZALEZ
Executive Vice President and Regional Manager
Dan is responsible for overseeing the Scheer Partners, Inc. Virginia
office. He has nearly 15 years of commercial real estate experience. He
has managed and executed complex projects consisting of strategic
planning/consulting, leasing and sales, financing, and development. Dan
has completed over 4 million square feet of local, national and
international transactions with a cumulative value of in excess of $2.5
Billion Dollars.
Dan is a member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s (www.nvtc.org),
Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Dan was a founding board
member of the Washington DC Technology Council (www.dctechcouncil.org).
Former Virginia Governor Mark Warner appointed Dan to the Virginia
Biotechnology Advisory Board developed to foster biotech investment
within Virginia and to the Virginia Joint Commission on Technology &
Science (JCOTS) Nanotechnology Advisory Committee. Dan is on the board
of the Virginia Biotechnology Association (www.vabio.org)
and a co-founder of Northern Virginia Biosciences Executives Group. He
serves as an advisor to angel venture capital fund Amplifier Ventures (www.amplifierventurea.com)
and Security One Bank (www.s1bank.com)
Dan also supports youth development by serving as a business plan judge
for the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (www.nfte.com)
and as a scholarship applicant reviewer for the Hispanic College Fund (www.hispanicfund.org).
He is Chairman of the Equal Footing Foundation (www.efooting.or)
formerly the NVTC Foundation) which is an organization aimed at
promoting community development through technology.
Dan received his MBA from the Carey School of Business at Johns Hopkins
University with a focus on finance and decision science. He received his
Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University. He resides in McLean,
Virginia with his wife and two children (soon to be three).
